Dr. Mark Schlesinger
 
Dr. Schlesinger is an anesthesiologist with over 20 years experience treating acute and chronic pain. He is a Diplomat of the America Board of Anesthesiology and the American Academy of Pain Medicine. Dr Schlesinger received his medical degree form Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York. He received training in surgery at the Roosevelt Hospital in New York and completed his residency in Anesthesiology at the UCLA Hospital and Clinics in Westwood.

Dr. Schlesinger is a member of the medical staffs of Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center, Providence Holy Cross Medical Center and Providence Tarzana Medical Center. He is a regular speaker at the Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center Tumor Board. Dr Schlesinger is fluent in English, Spanish, French and Italian. His special clinical interests include cancer pain and conditions affecting the spine.

The Schlesinger Pain Centers provide comprehensive, compassionate care for all acute and chronic pain conditions. Treatment modalities offered include medical management, psychological evaluation and support, a complete array of injection therapy utilizing both fluoroscopic and ultrasound guidance, neuromodulation, both chemical and electrical as well as a complete selection of neuroablative procedures. Many of the treatments can even be completed in the office.
